Boyz n the Hood
När den smarte ghettokillen Tre börjar visa tecken på problem skickar hans yrkesarbetande kämpe till mamma honom för att bo hos sin militante pappa. Där träffar Tre Ricky, en blivande fotbollsstjärna, och hans halvbror Doughboy. De tre blir goda vänner trots att de har ganska så olika livsmål. Tre siktar på att läsa vidare, Ricky spelar fotboll på hög nivå och Doughboy är gangster och narkotikalangare.
