The Door in the Floor
Författaren Ted Cole och hans fru Marion drabbas av en ofattbar tragedi då de förlorar båda sina söner, vilket närapå knäcker deras äktenskap. Istället för att ta stöd av varandra flyr Marion in i sig själv och Ted söker tröst hos andra kvinnor. Så anställer Ted den unge Eddie att assistera honom över sommaren i tron att det kan vara den förändring som behövs för att skaka liv i äktenskapet. Eddies närvaro får dock inte alls den effekt som Ted tänkt sig.
