The Keeping Room
Filmen utspelar sig under de sista dagarna av det amerikanska inbördeskriget. Augusta träffar på två fulla soldater som är på plundringståg. Hon lyckas fly männen och skyndar sig tillbaka till den ensligt belägna gården hon delar med sin syster Louise och deras kvinnliga slav Mad. När soldaterna spårar upp Augusta för att hämnas, tvingas de tre kvinnorna försvara sig själva och sitt hem.
