The Last King of Scotland
Om den unge Nicholas Garrigan som kommer till Uganda på 70-talet och får tjänsten som personlig läkare till den karismatiske men hänsynslösa diktatorn Idi Amin. Till en början sveps Nicholas med av Amins starka personlighet och charm men liksom resten av världen börjar han sakta förstå att Amin inte är den räddare han påstår sig vara. Bakom fasaden döljer sig en våldsam diktator och Nicholas inser att hans eget liv hänger på en skör tråd.
