Uppföljaren till Tobe Hoopers kultklassiker är minst lika blodig, våldsam och rolig som den första filmen. Dennis Hopper (!) spelar huvudrollen som Lefty, farbrorn till hjältinnan och hennes bror i del 1. Han är hämndlysten men folk vägrar tro på hans historia om den mordiska kannibalfamiljen. När en av morden spelas i ett radioprogram i direktsändning söker Lefty upp programmets DJ, Vantia. Men Leatherface & co har redan utsett vittnet till sitt nästa offer.
