The Treasure of the Sierra Madre
Det finns guld i bergen och girighet i männens hjärtan. De kommer allt närmare sin skatt men allt längre bort från lagen. Dodds och Curt är arbetslösa i Mexiko och ihop med den gamle guldgrävaren Howard, beger de sig till Sierra Madre för att leta efter guld. Naturen är hård och full av banditer - och deras girighet växer för att snart bli deras största fiende. De båda vännerna gör snart allt för att roffa åt sig guldet och blir istället bittra fiender.
