Throne of Blood
Mikio och Washizu är befälhavare för den första och andra fästningen under en lokal herre som själv sitter i Spindelnätsborgen. Efter att de besegrat herrens fiender besöker de borgen. Washizu, övertalas av sin fru att döda herren och själv ta hans plats. Men hans illdåd ger honom ingen ro. Historien är baserad på Shakespeares Kung Lear.
